The 2024-2027 Board of Directors term begins at The Summit (Las Vegas, September 9-12, 2024). CVSN has 11 Directors, each elected for three-year terms. Individual terms can be renewed or extended at the mutual discretion of the full Board and the Director. Over half of the Directors must be from member companies in the Distributor membership type. At least (2) Directors must be from member companies in the Supplier membership type.
CVSN's expectations from members of the Board of Directors include:
- Individual Participation : Leading by example through active leadership roles within the CVSN Pillar Communities.
- Optional attendance (virtual optional) at the Quarterly Board Update calls.
- Corporate representation in all three major events hosted by CVSN (HDAW, The Seminar and The Summit)
- Corporate representation in at least one of the CVSN Pillar Communities (Legislative, Industry Awareness/Marketing, Education/GenNext, Technology)
- CVSN Corporate Sponsorship if a Supplier or Business Service Provider member.
