OnRamp: Building the Aftermarket’s Workforce Pipeline
The commercial vehicle aftermarket runs on people: technicians, parts specialists, sales, logistics, and operations talent. Experienced hands are retiring faster than new ones are coming in. OnRamp is the industry’s answer: a national network of community colleges offering a standardized OnRamp certificate that builds on programs schools already run. Students finish knowing the industry and ready to work. Employers get a pipeline shaped by what they actually need. A founding cohort of schools is building it now.
Get involved: stay informed, introduce us to a school in your region, or help shape what the certificate covers.
Technician Apprenticeships
Good technicians are the hardest hire in the business, and the hardest to keep. CVSN is working with the ASE Education Foundation on a standardized apprenticeship program for technicians that gives new hires a structured path into the shop and works alongside OnRamp. Funding is available to support employers. Details are being finalized now, and we’re building the list of companies that want in first.
Join the waiting list: to be first in line when enrollment opens.
